DAY BY DAY TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

You will meet your driver and tour guide at Boston Logan Airport in the arrivals hall. We will make our way to our first Capital City - Concord, New Hampshire. After a brief stop, we will continue to our first hotel in Montpelier, the capital city of Vermont. This evening we will spend in the vibrant downtown area of this small but beautiful city.

Today we will enjoy a driving tour of the area surrounding Montpelier, Vermont. We will visit the beautiful Von Trapp lodge and enjoy the awe-inspiring scenery of the area. This evening we will enjoy a meal and entertainment locally.

After breakfast, we will travel through the scenic White Mountain National Forest to Augusta, the capital of Maine. Then it is on to Portland, Maine for a night out on the town!

A day full of exploration awaits you as we discover the beauty of the Maine Coast. This evening you will be free to enjoy the ambiance of Portland.

Today after exploring Portland's historic waterfront and downtown areas, we will make the short journey to Salem, Massachusetts - home of the famous witch trials. After a visit to The Salem Witch Museum where you will learn about the Salem witch trials of 1692 - we will make our way to Boston. This evening you will have free time to explore the capital of Massachusetts

This morning we will visit the two remaining states in New England - Connecticut & Rhode Island. First we will travel to Hartford for a visit to the Mark Twain House & Museum, where the beloved American author wrote his most famous novels, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” Then we will make the short journey to Providence Rhode Island and spend some time exploring this quintessential New England town. Home to eight colleges and universities, Providence, named one of the “52 Places in the World to Go" by The New York Times, mixes the accessibility and walk-ability of a smaller city with the culture of a much bigger one. Then it is on to the beautiful city of Newport, Rhode Island where a night on the town awaits.

Today we will wave goodbye to Rhode Island and travel to the Cape Cod area. You'll enjoy and discover all that this beautiful coastal region has to offer. The shoreline spans six beaches, but the sand feels endless at Cape Cod National Seashore. Its peninsula is shaped irregularly, so Cape Cod is studded with lighthouses of all shapes & sizes. Each town has its own character, making Cape Cod a patchwork of influences, from progressive Provincetown, with a thriving nightlife, to Hyannis, where you’ll find the John F. Kennedy Museum. Both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard can be reached by ferry, and once there, toured by bus, bicycle, on foot or by boat. On Martha’s Vineyard, you'll see the island’s oldest one-room schoolhouse and the Vincent House Museum. Then this evening after a short time relaxing at the hotel, we will go out again for a fabulous meal and local entertainment.

Feel free to explore more of this wonderful beach setting today and enjoy a night of entertainment on the beautiful Cape!

Today (if you wish) we will take you to the ferry port, where you can travel by ferry to Martha's Vineyard (Optional trip - you are also free to spend the day at leisure if you wish). A day exploring this beautiful island is followed by a night out to remember at the Melody Tent!
Today, our last full day in the Cape Cod area, we will take you on a driving tour to the Kennedy Compound, the JFK Memorial and then you will have free time to visit the JFK Library in Hyannis before doing some shopping in this lovely costal town. Tonight, the group will go out for dinner and entertainment locally.

It is time to travel from the beautiful coastal area of Cape Cod, but first, we will stop at The Mayflower and Plymouth Rock to pay homage to the Founding Fathers of the United States. Then it is time to make our way back to Boston. After checking in to our hotel we will have time to explore the area a little before going out to enjoy live music this evening.

After breakfast a visit to the Cheers Bar and other wonderful Boston Attractions await you.

After breakfast this morning, we will take you to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum before waving you off at Boston Logan Airport.
